I was born and educated in Denmark. I worked two years in The Black Forest, Germany, where I became chef in a Spa Hotel, before I returned to Denmark for my final education as a Technical Assistant. In 1964 I moved to ZŸrich, Switzerland and in 1968 changed my career to IT (computer science). Finally in 1976 I immigrated to England where I am now enjoying my retirement.
Cooking has always been my passion, and this booklet was the result of a collaboration between my late mother and myself. Both of us loved to experiment, discover and create new recipes with the emphasis still on value.
The recipes are easy to follow, with simple, basic ingredients and do not require any specific skills. Most of them only take 10-20 minutes from preparation to serving.
